2008 Fall Festival of the Arts  

  The GNBAA Fall Festival of the Arts will take place at the same location, in the parking lot of the Navarre Beach Pier, behind Cocodries. It's hard to believe that this is our third year.
Here is the planned schedule for the festival:

Friday, October 10 – LATIN NIGHT!
7 pm – Latin Night begins with the fabulous ‘Dalena’ and her band.
9 pm – Popular Latin DJ, Vasco Milord, takes the GNBAA stage to play all the latest Latin dance hits.
Food, beer, fun, dancing ‘til 11:00 pm

Saturday, October 11 – Open 10 am to 10 pm
10 am – Artist Market opens with artists and professional crafters.
Children’s art activities and face painting from noon to 4 pm.
Children’s rides, bungee jump, rockwall climb, bouncing areas for little ones, 10 to dark.
Food, Beer and beverages from 10 am to close.
Artist Demonstrations in the GNBAA tent during the day.
Also, at 10 am, on the GNBAA stage: “Captain Davy’s Magic Show”
Noon – Karate Demonstration, Martial Arts America
2 – 2:45 pm – Holly Navarre Middle School Jazz Band
3 – 4 pm – Woodlawn Middle School Chorus
4 – 5 pm – HighSteppers Tap Dancers
5 – 7 pm – ‘the Donors”, a 90’s contemporary rock band
7 – 9 pm – “A Touch of Gray” – popular Pensacola band playing all of your favorites from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s
9 – 11 pm – RETORIK, rock/metal fusion band

Sunday, October 12 – Open 10 am to 5 pm
10 am – First Baptist Church, Navarre, Services in the GNBAA stage tent
10 am to 5 pm – Artist Market
10 – 4 pm Activities – rock wall, bungee jump, etc.
1 – 4 pm Children’s Art activities
12- 1 pm – Navarre High School Chorus
1 – 2 pm – Navarre High School Jazz Band
2 – 4 pm – University of West Florida Symphony
Food and beverages sold all day long.

*Please note: some of the activities described are yet to be confirmed. We are working diligently to bring you wonderful entertainment each day of the festival ’08.

Artists
  Entry Fee: $75.00 on or before September 15, 2008 (10 x 10 space); $100.00 after Sept. 15, 2008

This festival has been growing in popularity among artists. Since we have limited space for booths, we will be reviewing applications before acceptance. For details, please click here to download an application.

For artists who have already been assigned a booth number, click here to see a map of the Artist Market. Also, click here to find your booth assignment. Artists can check in between 1:00 p.m. til Dusk on Friday, OCT 10th and 6:30 til 9:00 a.m. on Sat. OCT 11th. Vehicles must be out of the festival grounds by Saturday 9:00 a. m.

We need sponsors to help pay for these important services. Consider sponsoring one of the "outhouses" for $50 with a sign saying you are providing a little relief for art supporters.
